Woman's Missionary Union (WMU)
The Oak Grove Woman's Missionary Union (WMU) is our Baptist Women group committed to showing love to our community through charity and outreach while developing bonds of friendship and fellowship. Find out more about the national WMU here.
The WMU meets on the first Sunday of every month at 5 pm. Meetings include a time of fellowship, devotions and mission studies as well as planning for group events and activities. Open to all women.
Every month the ladies of the WMU focus on different outreach projects in our local community. From food & clothing drives for the Caring place to collecting supplies for New Hope Pregnancy Center to providing snacks for Sky Ridge ICU to coordinating benevolence work for the church, the ladies take the lead in showing love to our community. For more information on current outreach projects, see What's Happening Now.
"Haven’t I commanded you: be strong and courageous? Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” ~ Joshua 1:9 HCSB
