Easter Week Worship

To draw you closer to God and closer to each other.

Easter Sunday is the day we recognize and remember the greatest miracle of all - the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The week leading up to this glorious day is a wonderful opportunity for us to come together as a community of faith and draw closer to God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Our prayer is that you will join us on this journey. We invite you to take part in any or all of the worship opportunities we offer this week.

Palm Sunday

For generations, Christians have gathered to celebrate Jesus Christ's triumphant entry into Jerusalem.  This is a time to discover why God came down to earth, why He Sacrificed His son and what we must decide to do.  Our Palm Sunday worship follows our normal Sunday Schedule (small groups at 10, worship at 10:45) but all with an emphasis on the meaning behind this day and what it means for us.

Good Friday

Good Friday is the Friday before Easter Sunday and traditionally the day Jesus was crucified.  We will gather that evening at 7:00 pm for a candlelit service. A time of beautiful reflection on what this sacrifice means and how such a dark day truly is good for you and me.  How can the darkest day ever be a time of rejoicing for all who believe and a hope for all who trust in Him. The focal point of our worship will be a time of communion (Lord's Supper).

Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday is April 1, 2018 and it will be a day filled with passionate worship, wonderful fellowship and family fun.

It begins with our sunrise service at 7:30 am, which will be held outdoors at the cross (weather permitting).  And will be followed by small groups for all ages at 10:00 am and Easter worship at 10:45 am.  This worship will be a special celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the hope, forgiveness, and new life we now have in Him! (No evening service.)

This year we will be offering two egg hunts for the whole family to enjoy.  The first will be Saturday, March 31st at Water's Edge apartments in Cleveland.  The second will be our annual Community Egg Hunt on Easter Sunday following morning worship.

Kids will love this old fashioned egg hunt and be sure to stop by the photo booth to have your family picture taken.  Hope to see you there!
